SBTS cancels Monday classes

Communications Staff — January 30, 2009

Monday classes at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Boyce College have been cancelled because of the continuing power outage.

Seminary administration hopes that electrical service will be restored over the weekend and that classes can resume on Tuesday. Monday’s closing will give students time to make plans and return safely to the campus.

An announcement will be made at 10 PM Sunday regarding the status of Tuesday classes. All faculty and staff should report for work on Monday if electricity has been restored.
