The first Towers issue of the new year has hit the newsstands at Southern Seminary and is available online at the Resources tab at Southern’s main website.
The Jan. 4 issue features conversations with complementarian female writers and leaders Carolyn McCulley and Dorothy Patterson. Other features of the new issue include:
- An excerpt from Bruce Ware’s forthcoming work, “The Man Christ Jesus” (pg 4).
- A first person article by SBTS preaching professor Hershael York on longtime Southern Baptist pastor Clarence Walker (pg 10).
- A Q&A with Paige Patterson on the current state of the Southern Baptist Convention and other issues (pg 7).
- A faculty profile of Baptist historian Tom Nettles, including his background in music competitions, basketball and how he began in the field of history (pg 9).
- A new feature section, “Books old and new,” where Southern’s director of news and information reviews five books (pg 11).
