Just like last fall, all SWI classes will be offered as remote residential courses and will not meet in person on campus. We fully intend to return to the classroom just as soon as possible.
We have decided to postpone the Family Life Conference until September 2021 and hope to offer Seminar Saturday in March 2022.
Please read the new documents posted below. While our goals and required curriculum remain unchanged since 1997, we are adapting our format by offering SWI Online for distance students who have been asking for this for a very long time.
Registration will open on November 13. New students should look for an application here on our webpage by that date. Returning students should go to my.sbts.edu and register there using the same sign in credentials used on Canvas.
We are only publishing 2020-21 at this time: SWI Class Schedule (PDF).
Detailed course descriptions about each class are posted here as well. We purposefully post these before registration opens. We want you to read them so you know more than just a two word title of a class. Please take the time to read these carefully:
Here is an explanation of what asynchronous courses will be like for Seminary Wives Institute students who cannot be with us in person: SWI Asynchronous Courses (PDF).
Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions that should clear up lots of issues. They have not actually been asked yet but we anticipate they will be: Frequently Asked Questions List (PDF).
You should bookmark this page and return to it often. Other documents posted here remain helpful:
Please note that the $100 student fee for testing and health services will NOT be charged to SWI students since they will not be coming to the campus for class.
