The Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) annual meeting brings together scholars, teachers, pastors, and students committed to evangelical academic work. This year in Boston, nearly 40 representatives from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Boyce College contributed through paper presentations, moderated sessions, and research discussions.

Southern Seminary and Boyce College recently welcomed hundreds of guests to campus for their fall Preview Days, an opportunity for prospective students to experience firsthand what makes these institutions distinct. On October 10, 147 guests attended Southern Seminary’s Preview Day. The following week, October 16–17, Boyce College hosted 320 visitors for its largest fall Preview event ever.
The trustees of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary gathered October 13-14, 2025, for their fall meeting to conduct regular business, give thanks to the Lord for his provision, and reaffirm the seminary’s mission to train ministers of the gospel for a lifetime of faithfulness.
The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary has announced that Dr. Hershael W. York will conclude his service as Dean of the School of Theology at the end of the 2025–26 academic year. Following the conclusion of his tenure, Dr. Andrew T. Walker will assume the role of Dean of the School of Theology, beginning August 1, 2026.

Boyce College announced that Claire Aguda will join the faculty in the spring semester as Assistant Professor of Politics and Humanities. Aguda brings a strong background in the conservative intellectual movement, higher education, and cultural renewal initiatives to Boyce College.
The Jenkins Center for the Christian Understanding of Islam launched its first monthly evangelism outing of the semester on August 30, drawing nearly 100 students from Southern Seminary and Boyce College to share the gospel of Jesus Christ across Louisville.
