Dr. Pohlman serves as Chair of the Department of Christian Preaching and Associate Professor of Christian Preaching. Prior to joining the faculty of Southern Seminary, Pohlman served as the senior pastor at Immanuel Bible Church in Bellingham, Washington. He also served as executive editor for The Gospel Coalition and as an executive producer and editor for Salem Communications. Pohlman is married to Anna and they have seven children. Dr. Pohlman is the Lead Pastor of Oak Park Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
