Dr. Juan Carlos Martinez serves as Associate Professor of Leadership and Discipleship.
Dr. Martinez brings extensive experience in education, leadership development, and cross-cultural ministry. He currently serves as Deputy Superintendent of School Operations at Irving Independent School District in Texas, where he leads strategic initiatives in K–12 education. His work focuses on leadership training, cultural engagement, and discipleship in diverse ministry contexts.
Martinez holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Southern Seminary. A native Spanish speaker, he brings bilingual and bicultural expertise to the classroom and is deeply committed to mentoring leaders for gospel work in both the church and broader society.
He is married to Michelle, and they have three daughters.
