Jonathan T. Pennington, who holds a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from the University of St. Andrews (Scotland), is Professor of New Testament Interpretation at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. 


Dr. Pennington has served as Professor of New Testament Interpretation since 2005. He is married to Tracy, and they have 6 children. He is an Associate Pastor at Sojourn East in Louisville, Kentucky.
