Dr. J. Kyle Brosseau serves as Assistant Professor of Christian Missions and World Religions.
Dr. Brosseau brings over a decade of field and academic experience to the classroom. He served with the International Mission Board in both South Asia and Europe, where his ministry focused on Hindu contexts, urban pastoral training, and digital theological education. While living in Prague, Czech Republic, he taught high school Bible at the Christian International School of Prague, served as an adjunct instructor at College of the Ozarks, and worked with missionaries from the Majority World through the IMB’s Europe Affinity.
Brosseau holds a PhD in World Religions and a ThM in Christian Missions from Southern Seminary, as well as a Doctor of Ministry in Missions from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has earned multiple additional degrees in theology, missions, and biblical languages. He has published on Hindu-Christian dialogue, media in missions, and contemporary missiological issues.
Fluent in English and Hindi, Brosseau has also conducted research in Sanskrit, Greek, and Hebrew. His expertise in Hinduism and experience in cross-cultural theological training equip him to prepare students for gospel ministry in global and multi-religious contexts.
He lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife, Kate, and their two children.
