Heritage Hall | Thursday, November 6 at 5 p.m.
Our guest speaker, Dr. Rami Halaseh, is a Christian scholar originally from Jordan. He is a recognized academic specializing in Quranic studies and holds a Ph.D. in Quranic manuscripts from the University of St. Andrews. In addition, he serves as senior pastor of a Reformed local church in Amman.
Dr. Halaseh will be lecturing on an important topic: “Was the Quran Perfectly Preserved in Transmission and Canonization?”
This lecture will explore the processes of transmission and canonization of the Quran through a focused case study of one of the earliest available manuscripts. Dr. Halaseh will present remarkable findings and discuss their implications for the Christian witness of the Gospel among Muslims.
There will be two lectures in one evening, with dinner in between. Please RSVP.
