Roberto A. Carrera
Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies
Carrera came to Southern in 2011 to pursue his Masters of Divinity. He also completed his Ph.D. from Southern Seminary in 2022. Since 2021 he has been serving as director of the Online Hispanic Program where he has taught a number of courses in Greek and Hebrew exegesis as well as the Old Testament. He is married to Allison and they have three wonderful children: Adele, Margo, and Mercer.
