The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary is represented by students of 41 different countries and all 50 states in the continental United States. Though ethnically and culturally diverse, there is unity in Christ. As servants of Christ, the Residence Life Team strives to maintain the unity of the Spirit by daily living out Christ’s example of sacrificial love. The vision of the Residence Life Program is to foster a seminary community where residents encourage, care for, and serve one another to the glory of God. The Residence Life Program, much like the Seminary, is not intended to replace the local church; rather, it exists to complement the local church. The mission of the Residence Life team is to build and facilitate communal fellowship among residents by means of the work and care provided by the Resident Assistants.
