The Center for Student Success is on campus to help every student make a smooth transition to life in Louisville and their studies at Southern. We offer special assistance to international students in matters of admission, immigration, and cross-cultural adjustment.
All students with legal citizenship outside the United States are required to consult with the Manager for International Services within two days of arriving on campus.
Student Organizations exist to establish community, communication and spiritual growth among groups who share a common affinity at Southern Seminary. Several student organizations are organized around common cultural backgrounds.
There are over 100 languages spoken in Louisville, but not enough people speaking the gospel. The Bevin Center for Missions Mobilization connects the classroom to the mission field. There are many opportunities to connect students to nonbelievers from every tribe, tongue, and nation.
As a thriving metropolitan area, Louisville offers museums, a zoo, a waterfront park, a robust local food and coffee culture, over a hundred parks and recreation areas and numerous ministry opportunities. For whatever amount of time you're in the area or whatever stage of life you're in, Louisville has much to offer.
