The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:
- Oversees all aspects of intramural programming, activities and events
- Update and maintain the intramurals page on the HRC website
- Coordinates with a central calendar of activities, programs, events, and facility usage
- Update and maintain intramurals social media accounts
- Communicate all intramural changes/cancellations to the community and front desk staff
- Maintain office files
- Supervises program coordinators involved in intramurals
- Update and maintain the intramurals participant roster each semester
- Oversee the intramurals equipment and replacement needs
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the athletics’ closet
- Schedule and conduct interviews for all new intramural or game assistant staff
- Schedules intramural events and game assistants to work each event
- Sets up and maintains semester work schedules for staff
- Trains programming staff in their responsibilities
- Provides Director with evaluations and performance reviews
- Assists Director in creating and implementing intramural programs and game day athletic events
- Develop marketing initiatives to promote intramurals and Boyce home athletic contests
- Obtains and maintains all necessary instructional and professional certifications
- Attend all required meetings or campus events (ie Fall Festival)
- Fill-in for priority and program personnel in emergency situations
Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
