The team member in this position will have the following essential job functions:
- Serve as administrative assistant to the Associate Vice President for Doctoral Studies and the Director of Professional Doctoral Studies
- Serve as office receptionist, greeting guests and assisting students
- Answer phones
- Oversee files and records for the respective programs in Professional Doctoral Studies
- Prepare reports for faculty meetings
- Distribute Professional Doctoral Studies letters of acceptance, withdrawal, etc.
- Aid in developing and coordinating the annual Professional Doctoral Studies seminar schedules
- Supports the Associate Vice President with program development and recruitment of new students
- Oversee travel, honoraria requests, etc., for guest speakers in the Professional Doctoral Studies programs
- Work with Academic Records and Accounting offices for Professional Doctoral Studies registration, payment schedules, etc.
- Coordinate planning and scheduling of Professional Doctoral Studies student defense hearings
- Aid in planning on-campus events related to Professional Doctoral Studies such as prospective student visits, seminar luncheons, etc.
- Participate, as needed, in processing payments related to Professional Doctoral Studies such as seminar payments and doctoral supervision
- Assist in coordinating publicity for Professional Doctoral Studies programs
Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
