The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:
- Attention and support to Hispanic students on campus and online Spanish Education Program
- Provide information, support and encourage scholarly activities
- Promote fellowship opportunities with fellow students, mentors, faculty, staff
- Interact with support groups such as The Hispanic Students Club at SBTS
- Coordinate academic counsel in Spanish to current and prospective students
- Convey a sense of urgency among Hispanics on the need for transformation in Latin America and Spain
- Help students and faculty gain a better understanding of Latin America and Spain; seeking opportunities to help in the region
- Advance short-term missions (with The Bevin Center for Mission Mobilization)
- Promote conferences and discussion tables about the reality of the church in Latin America and Spain under the auspices of SBTS
Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
