The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:

  • Attention and support to Hispanic students on campus and online Spanish Education Program
  • Provide information, support and encourage scholarly activities
  • Promote fellowship opportunities with fellow students, mentors, faculty, staff
  • Interact with support groups such as The Hispanic Students Club at SBTS
  • Coordinate academic counsel in Spanish to current and prospective students
  • Convey a sense of urgency among Hispanics on the need for transformation in Latin America and Spain
  • Help students and faculty gain a better understanding of Latin America and Spain; seeking opportunities to help in the region
  • Advance short-term missions (with The Bevin Center for Mission Mobilization)
  • Promote conferences and discussion tables about the reality of the church in Latin America and Spain under the auspices of SBTS

Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
