The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:

  • Assist Boyce faculty with duplication, document formatting and editing, transcription, occasional research, Moodle, and other technical needs
  • Communicate with Boyce faculty regarding schedule changes, meetings, and other important information such as Boyce and Seminary Faculty Meetings, Boyce Preview Conferences, Faculty and Prospective Student Lunches, Boyce Chapel, Text Requisition deadlines, and Personnel Packet deadlines
  • Prepare materials for faculty workshops, faculty meetings, and other special events
  • Compose and distribute Boyce Faculty Meeting agenda and meeting minutes
  • Distribute and collect student and faculty course evaluations
  • Order textbooks and desk copies for Boyce College faculty
  • Administer makeup exams
  • Initiate the collection of adjunct faculty information, prepare and distribute PAFs and Personnel Packets, monitoring receipt and submission of packet materials to Academic Administration according to submission deadlines
  • Make office arrangements for new Boyce faculty members
  • Keep up-to-date contact information for all Boyce faculty and staff
  • Organize assignments for faculty and student distribution
  • Collect Boyce grader information from faculty each term, aids graders in completing necessary employment paperwork, and assist faculty in granting Academic Assistant access to Moodle; prepare and distribute PAFs
  • Work closely with the Admissions Office to coordinate and schedule prospective student meetings with Boyce faculty by sending them course schedules and academic and student life calendars as they become available • Process expense reimbursements via Concur for Boyce faculty
  • Assist Associate Dean for Academic Administration in preparing and updating course schedules throughout the year
  • Maintain a complex digital file system by creating and updating records, spreadsheets, and other documents
  • Assists in the purchasing and distribution of office supplies
  • Ensures that the faculty lounge and kitchen areas remains stocked and organized
  • Places work orders and coordinates with other offices to keep facilities maintained
  • Will assist with other special projects as may be assigned by the Senior Department Coordinator
