Curtis Woods

Assistant Professor of Applied Theology and Biblical Spirituality

Woods joined the Southern Seminary faculty in 2018 as assistant professor of applied theology and biblical spirituality. He is also the associate executive director for convention relations for the Kentucky Baptist Convention, a position he has held since 2012. Before that, he was the Baptist campus minister at Kentucky State University in Frankfort, Kentucky, and had a variety of responsibilities during five years at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas, from 2001-2006. Woods is the co-author of the recently released book Gospel in Color.
