William R. Cutrer

Dr. Cutrer is the first medical doctor to join the faculty at Southern. After a successful medical career as an obstetrician/gynecologist, he served as senior pastor in Mesquite, Texas. He has been a guest lecturer at numerous colleges, churches and institutions. In addition he has held conferences on various topics, including marriage enrichment, bioethics, and wellness lifestyles. Dr. Cutrer has been the author or co-author of several publications, including Sexual Intimacy in Marriage, The Infertility Companion, The Contraception Guidebook, and the most recent release of The Church Leader’s Handbook; a Guide to Counseling Families and Individuals in Crisis. He has extensive missionary experience in a variety of countries.
