Dr. Pierre joined the Southern faculty in 2011 after serving for eight years on the faculty of Boyce College as a professor of literature and culture.  He has served as an administrator and pastor at Clifton Baptist Church since 2006 as well as a conference speaker at various engagements in the U.S. and overseas.  Dr. Pierre has written numerous articles and contributed to various books, including Christ-Centered Biblical Counseling and a forthcoming book on the sufficiency of Scripture.  He is also a council member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition.
