Bible Translators in Training


BBT exists to:

  • Raise awareness of the need for Bible translation around the world
  • Provide members with opportunities to become involved in the work of translation while preparing for ministry
  • Encourage students to consider implementing the language and theological training they receive as a means to translate the Bible into languages that do not yet have one


  • Monthly meetings
  • Semester lectures by scholars and missionaries in fields relevant to the task of Bible translation
