The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:

  • Oversees all aspects of aquatic programming, activities and events
  • Supervises program coordinators for aquatic programming and aquatic staff in their responsibilities
  • Schedules and conducts in-service workshops
  • Trains programming staff in their daily responsibilities
  • Performs daily business/operational tasks
  • Assists Director in creating and implementing aquatic programs
  • Coordinates with a central calendar of activities, programs, events, and facility usage
  • Develops and maintains budgets in coordination with the Director
  • Sets up and maintains semester work schedules for aquatic program staff
  • Provides Director with evaluations and performance reviews
  • Oversees HRC rental agreements including but not limited to pool rentals
  • Obtains and maintains all necessary instructional and professional certifications
  • Fill-in for priority and program personnel in emergency situations


Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
