JOB FUNCTIONS

The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:

  • Be an example in word and deed (Col. 3:17).  Be a model for peers through church participation, devotions, relationships, personal habits, and attitudes
  • Be proactive in developing discipleship and accountability relationships with Resident Assistants and on-campus residents
  • Assist Resident Assistants in planning, hosting, and organizing events
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the rules and regulations that govern the students at SBTS and Boyce College
  • Help communicate and promote Residence Life events
  • Maintain and balance budget for Residence Life account
  • Provide emergency response as pertains to on-campus residents
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct Resident Assistant training two times per year
  • Conduct regular meetings with Resident Assistants in order to plan events, assess performance, and provide training
  • Report any significant needs and concerns related to the spiritual, emotional, and practical well-being of residents to the Assistant Manager of Student Housing
  • Work with the Student Housing Office to maintain the cleanliness and order of on-campus residence halls and apartments
  • Assist Student Housing with Preview Day and Orientation Day activities

Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
