JOB FUNCTIONS

The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:

  • Develops and implements, in concert with the VP of Hospitality Services, a marketing and sales strategy towards religious and for profit organizations.
  • Leads and manages the Legacy Hotel staff, including the Assistant General Manager, Sales Manager, Lead Driver, and Accounting Specialist for Hospitality Services
  • Is knowledgeable of campus resources and service areas that are available to clients, including Hotel, Event Space, Catering, Retail, and Health and Recreation Center
  • Creates a plan for marketing materials and advertising, including brochures, mailers, door hangers, giveaways and print ads
  • Recommends capital reserve and manages capital projects and replacement plan
  • Prepares Legacy Hotel budget
  • Manages room, retail and transportation rates, using local market trends and general industry knowledge
  • Manages event space revenue, using local market trends and general industry knowledge
  • Oversees billing of Legacy Hotel and Event Productions external client revenues
  • Recommends policy and procedure changes as needed
  • Has a commanding knowledge of both property management software, Maestro and EMS
  • Updates and maintains Legacy Hotel website
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, orally and written
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Manage other projects as assigned

Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
