The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:

  • Make data-driven decisions to shape the recruiting strategy and travel schedule as it relates to:
    • How often to have recruiters in certain areas – states/cities
    • Make decisions as to what type of events maximize the return on investment for recruiting efforts
    • Which churches/schools to establish and/or grow relationships for recruiting efforts
    • Perform market research for implementation of trends in effective recruiting
    • Serve as direct report for admissions counselors and student ambassadors in all areas related to recruiting students
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement the Boyce College future student communication plan
    • Create and execute automated communication plan for prospects and applicants
    • Create and execute calendar communication plan for prospects and applicants
    • Provide vision for Boyce College Admissions social media strategy
    • Coordinate with the Communications Office to develop first class recruiting materials/tools to be used for effective recruitment
  • Collaborate with Admissions Counselor to execute the following areas:
    • Oversee recruiting strategy for Boyce College
    • Organize/develop a travel schedule calendar that is easily accessible and usable for the Admissions Office (physical copy and digital system)
    • Registration for conferences, college/grad fairs, state conventions, etc.
    • Submit registration forms and make necessary payments in a timely manner that takes advantage of early-bird discounts and conference hotel room rates
    • Manage follow-up communication with event staff for Boyce recruiters
    • Keep detailed records of trips, costs, and other pertinent information
    • Provide direction for Admissions Counselors in recruiting territory management
  • Utilize Admissions Office CRM to maximize recruiting strategy and metrics
    • Manage counselor work flow using CRM technology
    • Use CRM data to make strategic recruiting decisions
  • Provide excellent leadership for Admissions Counselors and serve as first line for the Admissions Office with prospective students and applicants
    • Lead and participate with admissions counselors in file review
    • Give guidance to inquiries in the areas of tele-counseling, emails, walk-ins, campus visits, and scheduled appointments with admissions staff
    • Lead and participate in calling campaigns during the semester
    • Work towards achieving both personal and institutional recruitment goals
  • Assistance and leadership to on-campus events including but not limited to:
    • Preview Days, GMAA, Fall Festival, orientation, graduation, etc.
  • Limit of six hours per semester of graduate degree pursuits
  • Expected to attend both chapel services during the week
