The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:

  • Ensures the effective and efficient operations of the Legacy front desk and drivers
  • Works flexible and, when necessary, long hours.  Evening, weekend and holiday hours are typical
  • Manages labor and supply expenses by closely tracking budget and performance expectations
  • Approves supply orders and researches price comparisons
  • Creates and maintains staff resource materials including training manuals, performance expectations, policies and processes, software use, and guest materials
  • Reviews and improves processes to increase productivity, profitability, and customer service, e.g. reservations, rate management and scheduling
  • Reviews the accuracy of reservations
  • Interacts with guests.  Reviews and responds to guest response cards
  • Cultivates relationships with department managers and other seminary staff
  • Manages housekeeping operational calendar and deferred maintenance
  • Manages scheduling of staff
  • Conducts annual performance appraisals and quarterly coaching sessions
  • Conducts bi-monthly staff meeting
  • Manages emergency preparedness procedures and equipment
  • Manages housekeeping supplies and inventory
  • Hires and/or terminates in line with Seminary policies
  • Communicates clear performance expectations to staff and clearly communicates measurable, achievable goals
  • Creates and maintains detailed training programs, e.g. reservations, telephone skills, general customer service/interaction, billing, driving etiquette, etc.
  • Provides primary staffing, relief as needed, and additional support during busy periods


Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
