The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:

  • Work with the Associate Vice President and the Director of Online Learning to develop and to design online courses
  • Provide consultation and administrative support to Associate Vice President for Global Campus in the areas of correspondence, development, and department operations
  • Answer and filter all calls for extension education.  Responsible for knowledge of extension resources and offices for referrals
  • Prepare and process Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) for all Global Campus faculty
  • Organize and maintain the department’s files, including daily filing and copying of all necessary paperwork.  Administer the flow and completion of all necessary forms
  • Assist in managing the Extension Education budget under the authority of the Associate Vice President.  This includes preparing the budget at the beginning of each fiscal year and ensuring proper accounting procedures in accordance with seminary policy
  • Manage, along with the Associate Vice President, the operating budget.   This includes monthly budget reconciliation, the completion of business expense reports for faculty and guests, and the payment of vendor accounts
  • Prepare and process check requests, expense reimbursements, data processing requests, cash reports and copy center requests as necessary
  • Coordinate marketing content produced for Global Campus
  • Answer emails and telephone calls related to the duties of the Associate Vice President and particularly related to recruitment of new Global Campus students
  • Coordinates with other offices and departments regarding Global Campus course issues
    • Academic Records regarding courses rotations, scheduling, registration, exception petitions
    • Campus Technology regarding technology issues related to Global Campus faculty and students
    • Human Resources in processing new adjunct faculty
  • Communicates with extension education faculty regarding scheduling and semester course preparation
  • Maintains and updates extension education course registration reports and related statistics
  • Prepares and enters program assessment reports into assessment reporting software
  • Prepares payment for extension education faculty and contracts and payment for adjunct faculty
  • Schedule and update the Associate Vice President’s calendar.  This includes scheduling lunches, speaking engagements, and any other event in which the Associate Vice President may be involved.


Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
