The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:

  • Lead in general office management of the Admissions Office
    • Staff the front desk of Admissions as needed to assist students, staff, and visitors who walk-in to the Admissions Office
    • Maintain an inviting, comfortable and professional atmosphere in the Admissions Office
    • Ensure that the front office is clean, set up and prepared to accommodate the needs of guests
    • Maintain space and schedule of the Pavilion Theater Room, used daily for campus visits
  • Oversight of office inventory and supplies including office ordering (office supplies, visit snacks, etc.)
  • Monthly reconciliation of three office procurement cards by keeping accurate record of expenses, staff spending, and department budget
  • Train and inform office staff on proper procurement card use and handling
  • Process and create all Interdepartmental Transfers / Journal Entries
  • Complete and submit all check requests on behalf of the office
  • Coordinate processes and protocol of paperwork surrounding new hires and terminations of employment
  • Order new employment materials for all new hires (nametags, polos, name plates, manuals, etc.)
  • Intraoffice Communication
    • Manage Admissions Office calendars and scheduling for staff and department
    • Schedule and provide administrative support for weekly staff meetings
    • Receive and distribute Admissions Office mail, email and phone messages
    • Third line for receiving admissions office phone calls
  • Interoffice Communication
    • Submit facility work orders as needed to maintenance staff
    • Submit requests to 5th and Broadway for printing projects as needed
    • Receive and process marketing and other print shop jobs and projects
    • Submit Campus Technology work orders when needed (Program updates, program installation, etc.)
    • Schedule weekly office trainings with on-campus partners
  • Attendance and assistance for on-campus events including but not limited to 4 Preview Days, 8 special visit days, graduation, etc.


Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
