Programs

At Southern Seminary you will have the opportunity to study under leading scholars, develop spiritually, and gain hands-on experience in ministry.

Master of Divinity: The basic professional degree programs provide education for persons to serve as pastors, chaplains, missionaries, evangelists, Christian educators, Christian leaders, church musicians, worship leaders, campus ministers, denominational ministers, and many other vocations.

Master of Arts: The basic master's level programs provide education for persons to serve as Christian educators, leaders, counselors, cross-cultural workers, church musicians, worship leaders, youth and campus ministers, and many other vocations.

Professional Doctoral: The goal of the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program at Southern Seminary is to sharpen leaders, to strengthen churches, and to impact our world with the message of Jesus Christ.
Research Doctoral: The purpose of the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree program is to give students an opportunity to prepare for effective leadership in areas requiring advanced Christian scholarship and the application of scholarship to ministry.

Boyce College: Boyce College was founded upon the Bible college structure in order to train students in biblical studies and theological disciplines. It is designed to prepare persons who sense the need to be equipped for variety of God-called ministries.

Master of Divinity: This program involves approximately two years of study on campus (65 hours) and two or three years of church planting in an international missions setting.

Diploma: Diploma programs are offered for students who cannot enroll in a master's degree program because they do not have a baccalaureate degree

Women's Programs: At Southern Seminary we recognize the vital role that women play in God's Kingdom. To that end, we've created a variety of special programs and ministries to address women's special needs and talents.
