If you want to strengthen your Greek, study the Johannine literature, or interact with contemporary New Testament scholarship on issues such as Paul’s view of justification, the Ph.D. in New Testament will provide the training ground for you. This degree allows students to focus on either the language, literature or theology of the New Testament.
The divisions within New Testament Studies are as follows:

- New Testament Language (Students majoring in NT must take a comprehensive exam in this area and therefore have two classes in this category)
