New, Flexible Way to Complete Your Degree from a Distance
Completing a seminary degree has never been more convenient and more flexible. Starting Fall 2012, we are offering a new hybrid modular format. This new format combines your online learning experience with an intensive, 2 day, on-campus experience per course. Essentially, it allows you to take up to 13 hours of on-campus credit and you only have to be on campus for as little as 8 days per semester!
Why Does This Matter?
We care about trying to offer maximum flexibility to the distance student while also ensuring you get the best education possible. We strive offer as much online as we can, but we also care about getting to meet you in person as well. So, we hope this new format is a great solution for you.
Now, via these new hybrid modular offerings, you can earn all of your required on-campus required hours through these new hybrid modular courses. You could earn all required on-campus hours for a Master’s degree in only two 8 day segments (16 days total)! The remainder of your Master’s degree may be earned through online courses, extension centers, or at the Southern Seminary campus in Louisville. So, completing your Master’s program at Southern has never been more accessible than via these hybrid modular courses!
