Upcoming MATSIL Courses

25100 OC Church History 1
This class will be held in Seville, Spain November 26-30.  The class is taught by Dr. Tim Beougher and features an overview of church history from the early church to the Reformation.  Attention is given to the early church councils and major heresies.  This class will fulfill the matsil church history requirement.  Email academicrecords@sbts.edu to register for the class.

22100 OC Biblical Hermeneutics

This class will be held in Taiwan early January of 2013.  The class is taught by world renowned biblical scholar Dr. Peter Gentry.  The class features an overview of interpretation methods for the various genres of Scripture.  Attention will be given to unique cross-cultural issues related to interpretation.

Missions Elective
A to be determined missions elective will be taught in Uganda May 7-11.  The class will be taught by Dr. David Sills and will feature topics such as theology of missions, contextualization, communicating Christ in oral cultures, ect.
