Thursday is all about telling your “Southern Story” on social media. This day will allow for students, alumni, donors, faculty, staff and friends to all tell their “Southern Story.” The “Southern Story” is how you have been involved and personally impacted by Southern Seminary and the work God is doing through the institution. You may share how why you believe Southern is important to future generations, how Southern prepared you for ministry, why you feel called to invest in Southern, a favorite memory of time spent at Southern, even a funny story. Stories will be captured by individuals filming their story on their phone, camera, or computer and then uploading the video to their social media platforms, introducing their circle, along with others around the world to their “Southern Story.”

Friday is Giving Day. Matching gifts will be announced in the days leading up to “Give” day and donations may be made to the Southern Fund, Missions, or Student Scholarships.
All gifts will go directly to help offset the cost of tuition for over 5,000 students from all 50 states in the United States and more than 55 nations globally. For more information about financially partnering with Southern or how you can be a matching donor contact Dylan Eagle.

Saturday is focused on giving back and serving the community. This day is in direct partnership with the 1937 Project, named for the year Southern served the city of Louisville following a devastating flood that covered most of the city. Local residents of Louisville may partner locally with the 1937 Project and non-residents are encouraged to create their own 1937 Project wherever they may live. Sign up today to join us here in Louisville or to start your own by clicking the button below. Additional questions may be directed to Tyler Clark.

This day is in partnership with the Bevin Center’s “Preach the Word” and the Southern Baptist Convention’s Seminary Sunday. Churches may partner in three distinct ways. One, show a video featuring Dr. R. Albert Mohler Jr. discussing the impact churches have through their Cooperative Program gifts on the six SBC seminaries, including Southern. Two, allow a Southern student to give a testimony during the Sunday morning service regarding the impact their giving has had on their educational journey and preparation for ministry. Three, allow for a Southern student, either in the regional Louisville area or via a distant student, to fill that church’s pulpit for that Sunday morning.
