In 2010 and 2011, the Gheens Center for Christian Family Ministry entitled our journal “The Journal of Family Ministry.” Beginning with the upcoming issue, we will be changing that name to “The Journal of Discipleship and Family Ministry”; with that change, you will also notice an increased number of articles that relate not only to family ministry but also to the church’s discipleship and educational ministries. Nothing will change in your subscription or in the journal’s commitment to serve as the premier professional journal for church-based family ministry. All that you will notice is an expanded title and some additional articles that have a broader focus.
