About David Horner: David Horner is the founding pastor of Providence Baptist Church in Releigh, North Carolina and the author of four books: Firmly Rooted, Faithfully Growing, Dad’s Words of Wisdom, and A Practical Guide for Life and Ministry. He has Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University and holds a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

David and his wife, Cathy, have been married since 1973 and have three grown sons, Jeff (married to Elizabeth), Scott (married to Meredith) and Jon (married to Meghan) and three grandsons.
