TUITION:

The total cost of tuition per credit hour is stated in the institutional catalog and for the 2011-2012 academic year is billed at the rate of $438/credit hour for non-SBC students or $219/credit hour for SBC students. (Members of a Southern Baptist church receive a tuition subsidy from the Southern Baptist Convention.) Students may not complete their entire degree program at this location. The total program cost for Master’s students is: $36,080 (Non-SBC Student) or $18,040 (SBC Student) for the Master of Divinity degree and $22,960 (Non-SBC Student) or $11,480 (SBC Student) for the Master of Arts in Christian Education.

LIBRARY:

Library privileges have been secured at the University of Tennessee. There is no charge for on-site use; however, for checkout privileges, a subscriber’s card must be purchased for $100. The card is good for one year. A form for this purpose and general information about the University of Tennessee Library can be secured from the Center Director.

WITHDRAWAL:

Seminary policy allows a student to withdraw from a class by the midpoint of each respective class and receive a grade of WP (withdrawn passing) or WF (withdrawn failing). Withdrawal after this date is recorded as an automatic F. You may direct questions concerning the exact midpoints of a particular class to Mr. Norm Chung
at the number to the right. For prorated refund percentages, see the seminary catalog. Students will receive a failing grade if they simply stop attending class without dropping properly. Exceptions are granted by the Office of Academic Records. Requests for withdrawal must be in writing and submitted on or before the deadline to the Academic Records Office, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, 2825 Lexington Road, Louisville, KY 40280.
