Professional Doctoral Studies students are required to be on campus for 1-2 week seminars during the Winter and Summer terms.
The library at Southern Seminary is one of the world’s largest theological libraries. It is the home of 1,000,000 items including 388,000 volumes. All Southern Seminary students have full access to library resources, including library lending and access to online resources for research. The campus bookstore is operated by LifeWay Christian Resources. There is a wide range of academic books and resources available.
5th and Broadway has more than just seminary sweatshirts, t-shirts, coffee mugs, and other paraphernalia. It also has some of the essentials of a convenience store you may want while you’re here on campus, a post office, and a full service print shop.
Edgar’s Gift Emporium is the gift shop of Southern Seminary that supports the mission trips of the school through the Bevin Center. They are our region’s largest fine writing store offering a variety of pens, paper, stationery, and ink. They also offer office decor, men’s accessories, and unique gifts.
The HRC offers a fitness room, indoor track, racquetball and basketball courts, a large indoor pool, a hot tub, and locker rooms with showers, a steam room, and a sauna. The fitness room provides a total workout combining cardio equipment, free weights and an array of weight machines.
Grab a bite to eat or a latte by the fireplace. Study, email, or just take a break. Founders Café is a great place to eat, socialize, or both. Founders Café has an assortment of snacks, drinks, freshly made sandwiches, and treats.
The Dining Hall includes an entrée buffet, a soup, salads, and subs bar, a made-to-order grill, a rotisserie, and other dining options.
