New Testament Exposition

The Doctor of Ministry in New Testament Exposition is specifically designed to provide students with a high level of engagement with the New Testament while maintaining a focus on local church ministry.

Through this course of study, pastors and ministry leaders are given the opportunity to hone a particular skill set, while continuing to sharpen the ministry tools acquired in their master’s degree training.

Program of Study

This program of study is offered as a 32 Hour D.Min. degree.

  • Intro to Doctoral Research & Writing (1 hour)
  • Project Methodology (1 hour)
  • Four Foundational Seminars (16 hours)
  • Contextualized Writing Seminar (8 hours)
  • Research Project or Thesis (6 hours)

Seminars will include topics such as:

  • Greek grammar and linguistics
  • Theology and interpretations of the Gospels and the Pauline Epistles
  • Exegetical and hermeneutical foundations for New Testament exposition
  • Johannine Theology
