Christian Ministry

The Doctor of Ministry and the Doctor of Educational Ministry in Christian Ministry is specifically designed to provide students with an opportunity to custom tailor a doctoral education towards sharpening specific ministry skills in key areas.

With a concentration in Christian Ministry, pastors and ministry leaders are given the opportunity to hone various skills as a practitioner. Students have the ability to choose from a wide array of courses for the purpose of crafting a degree that works best for their ministry context.

The purpose of seminary training is to equip students with all the necessary tools towards numerous ministry applications. It’s often true that pastors and ministry leaders serve in ministry contexts and soon recognize that certain skills need to be sharpened in order to be a more effective leader.

Program of Study

This program of study is offered as a 32 Hour D.Min. degree.

Course curriculum includes:

  • Project Methodology (1 hour)
  • Intro to Doctoral Research & Writing (1 hour)
  • Four Foundational Seminars (16 hours)
  • Contextualized Writing Seminars (8 hours)
  • Ministry Research Project or Thesis (6 hours)

This program of study is also offered as a 46 Hour D.Ed.Min. degree.

Course curriculum includes:

  • Project Methodology (1 hour)
  • Intro to Doctoral Research & Writing (1 hour)
  • Four Foundational Seminars (16 hours)
  • Two Educational Seminars (12 hours)
    • Applied Empirical Research
    • Foundations of Teaching
  • Contextualized Writing Seminars (8 hours)
  • Ministry Research Project or Thesis (8 hours)
