Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.)
The goal of the Doctor of Ministry program at Southern Seminary is to sharpen leaders, strengthen churches and make an impact on the world with the message of Jesus Christ. To that end, we have created a D.Min. program tailored to help ministry professionals achieve ministry excellence in their personal lives and the ministries they serve.
D.Min. Concentrations Include:

- Black Church Leadership
- Christian Worship
- Evangelism & Church Growth
- Expository Preaching
- Family Ministry
- Global Missions
- Korean Church Leadership
- Leadership
- Urban Ministry
- Youth Ministry (NEW for Fall 2013!)
Doctor of Educational Ministry (D.Ed.Min.)
The Doctor of Educational Ministry program has been created to meet the ever-changing needs of Christian education ministry professionals. In addition to completing a core of foundational seminars, students will select a field of concentration from one of six tracks.
D.Ed.Min. Concentrations Include:
- Biblical Counseling
- Christian Worship
- Evangelism & Church Growth
- Family Ministry
- Global Missions
- Leadership
- Youth Ministry (NEW for Fall 2013!)
