Intent to Vacate Form

Official Move-out Procedure:

  • Follow all directions on the move-out checklist, including cleaning room and, for Boyce students, getting an RL check-out form.
  • Room/apartment must be completely cleaned and empty before checking out.
  • Students must verify forwarding information and return keys at Student Housing (118 Fuller Hall) during regular hours. Student Housing hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Wednesday closed at 4:30 p.m.) and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Rent charges will continue until students complete the form and return all keys.

Please Note:

  1. If you vacate campus housing prior to the end of your contract, you are financially responsible for the remainder of the contract period.
  2. For apartments, a pre-vacate inspection will be conducted approximately two weeks before your scheduled vacate date.
  3. An inspection after your move-out will determine any charges to be assessed to your account due to damage to the unit.
  4. If you leave the unit in satisfactory condition and you complete the checkout process, including properly returning keys, your deposit will be refunded. Please allow 30 days for processing.
  5. This form is binding and your housing unit will be made available to new residents within two weeks after your scheduled vacate date.
