These discounts and scholarships provide tuition assistance for full-time IMB and NAMB missionaries and their legally dependent children. Qualifications for these discounts are outlined below: 1

Reverse 2 + 2 Program Available to students completing the field portion of their program prior to taking classes on campus. Students receive tuition grant for both field and campus portions of their program. Internet fee grant is available only during the field portion of program. 50% 50%

Mission Trip Scholarship8 Course tuition scholarship for one-time mission trip with SBTS Application and missions trip information must be submitted. Students with Missions Grant do not qualify. $100/ credit hr., $500 max. N/A
Spouse of Full-time Missions Student Spouses of full-time missions students qualify for the spousal discount. Spouses of part-time missions students or students receiving the MK Grant do not qualify. Spouses already receiving the Missions Grant cannot receive the spousal discount. 50% N/A

1 Each student is permitted only one SBTS discount or scholarship. If eligible for more than one, the greater scholarship will be awarded.
2 Tuition discount based upon the yearly completion of application for financial aid, including verification of dates of service. Student must remain in good standing with the institution.
4 Service with the IMB or NAMB must be verified in writing. Should an IMB or NAMB missionary no longer be employed by the agency, the discount will be discontinued.
5 Student must be enrolled full-time on-campus or at an extension center and must be in good academic standing. Discount applies only to tuition costs.
7 Parental service with IMB or NAMB must be verified in writing. Should parents no longer be employed with IMB or NAMB, the discount will be discontinued. Online education is not included in the discount.
8 General Scholarship recipients may receive an additional Mission Trip Scholarship.
