Group Swim Lessons* for Spring 2015

We will be offering five different sessions of group swim lessons during the fall semester. Lessons will run from 9:00-11:00am and 3:00-5:00 pm. Each swim lesson is scheduled for 25 minutes. The cost is $25 per child. Payment (cash or check) is due at the time of registration. Register at the Health and Recreation Center Front Desk.

Session 1: February 2 – February 13  (Mon/Wed/Fri)

  • Registration Begins: Saturday, January 10

Session 2: February 24 – March 6  (Mon/Wed/Fri)

  • Registration Begins: Saturday, February 14

Session 3: March 16 – March 27 (Mon/Wed/Fri)

  • Registration Begins: Saturday, March 7

Session 4: April 13 – April 24 (Mon/Wed/Fri)

  • Registration Begins: Saturday, April 4

Class Schedule: (Subject to change)

  • Level 1:       3:00pm, 3:30pm, and 4:00pm
  • Level 2:       3:00pm, 4:00pm, 4:30pm
  • Level 3:       3:30pm, 4:30pm

Swimming Ability Descriptions

Baby Swim Lessons*

Baby Swim Lessons is a new program that allows children, ages 6 months to 3 years of age, to become antiquated with water with their parent by their side.

  • Times: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:30am or 11:00am
  • Ages: 6 months to 3 years old
  • Cost: $25.00 per child
  • Registration begins Saturday, January 10.

Private Swim Lessons

  • Private swim lessons  are offered throughout the year.
  • Cost: $20/half hour for one child. $5 for each additional child in the same lesson.
  • Patrons without a shield card will need to pay a $3 guest fee.

Children’s Swim Team*

  • Children must be able to swim 25 yards proficiently and be between the ages of 7 – 12.
  • Dates: February 7 – April 25.
  • Time: Saturday Mornings, 8:00 – 9:30 am
  • Registration opens January 10, sign up at the HRC front desk.
  • Cost: $25 per child
