Group Swim Lessons* for Fall 2014

We will be offering four different sessions of group swim lessons during the fall semester. Lessons will run from 9:00-11:00am and 3:00-5:00 pm. Each swim lesson is scheduled for 25 minutes. The cost is $25 per child. Payment (cash or check) is due at the time of registration. Register at the Health and Recreation Center Front Desk.

Session 1: August 18- August 29  (Mon/Wed/Fri)

  • Registration Begins: Saturday, August 2

Session 2: September 8- September 19  (Mon/Wed/Fri)

  • Registration Begins: Saturday, August 23

Session 3: October 13- October 24 (Mon/Wed/Fri)

  • Registration Begins: Saturday, September 27

Session 4: November 3- November 14 (Mon/Wed/Fri)

  • Registration Begins: Saturday, October 18

Class Schedule: (Subject to change)

  • Splishers:      9:00am, 9:30am, 10:00am, 10:30am, 3:00pm, 3:30pm, and 4:00pm
  • Splashers:       9:00am, 9:30am, 10:00am, 3:00pm, and 4:00pm
  • Splooshers:       10:30am, 3:30pm, and 4:30pm
  • Swimmers:       4:30pm

Swimming Ability Descriptions

Private Swim Lessons

  • Private swim lessons  are offered throughout the year.
  • Cost: $20/half hour for one child. $5 for each additional child in the same lesson.
  • Patrons without a shield card will need to pay a $3 guest fee.
  • Contact a Swim Instructor below to ask questions or schedule a private lesson.

Children’s Swim Team*

  • Children must be able to swim 50 yards proficiently and be between the ages of 7 – 12.
  • Dates: August 30- November 15.
  • Time: Saturday Mornings, 8:00 – 9:30 am
  • Registration: Begins August 2
  • Cost: $25 per child
