Childcare Policies and Procedures

Morning and Afternoon Childcare*

  • Childcare will be offered August 25 – November 21
  • For children ages 6 weeks-10 years.
  • Childcare will be available Monday-Friday from 9:00am-Noon.
  • Childcare will also be available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-6:00pm during the school semester.
  • Childcare costs $5 per child for each visit.
  • Childcare is on a first come first served basis.
  • Parents can use this time to work out, do homework, or run errands. Parents are not required to stay on campus.

Date Night Out*

  • Enjoy an evening out on the town with your spouse while the HRC watches your kids.
  • Date Night Out will be offered on August 29, September 19, October 24, and November 14
  • The time is 6:30-9:30pm.
  • The cost is $6.00 per child.
  • Registration begins at the HRC front desk the Saturday before at 8:00am, registration closes the Wednesday before at 10:00 pm.

Date Night In*

  • Enjoy a quiet dinner for two and be encouraged with biblical marriage mentoring from Family Life’s Tom and Robyn Scott.  This intimate marriage investment is sponsored by Student Life.
  • Date Night is held in the President’s Reception Room and will be offered on September 20, October 10, and November 7.
  • The time is 6:30-9:30pm.
  • The cost is $15.00 per couple and $6.00 per child (childcare is held in Room 246).
  • Registration begins at the HRC front desk on September 6, September 27, and October 25.

Bouncy House Day

  • In the Main Gym from 9:00am-Noon
  • September 20, October 25, and November 15
  • $3.00 per family

Baby Motorskills*- Registration Opens August 2

  • This class is for children ages 6 months – 2 years.
  • The time is Thursdays 9:30-10:15 (6 months- crawlers) and 10:30-11:15 (walkers)
  • The cost is $15.00 per child
  • The class runs from August 25- November 13
  • This class is designed for parents to assist their young children in developing fine motor skills, gross motor skills, social skills, and spacial awareness.
  • Parent participation is required.
  • Visit the Health and Recreation Center front desk to register.

Motorskills*- Registration Opens August 2

  • This class is for children ages 3-6 (no exceptions).
  • The time is Tuesdays 3:30-4:20pm OR 4:30-5:20pm.
  • The cost is $25.00 per child.
  • The class runs from August 26- November11.
  • This class is designed to help younger children develop their fine motor skills through the use of games and activities.
  • Visit the Health and Recreation Center front desk to register.

KidsFit*- Registration Opens August 2

  • This class is for children 7-12 (no exceptions).
  • The time is Mondays and Thursdays 4:30-5:30.
  • The cost is $25.00 per child.
  • This class runs from August 25- November 13.
  • This class is designed to teach children team work and the importance of physical activity through the use of sports and exercises.

Tennis Lessons

  • Fridays 9 – 10 a.m. (4-6 years old) & 10 – 11 a.m. (7-10 years old)
  • The cost is $40 per child.
  • Meet in the main gym at the HRC.
  • Lessons run from August 29th – November 21st
  • No lessons during fall break.
  • Children need to wear clothing that is easy to move around in, such as shorts and a t-shirt. Tennis shoes that do not damage the court floor are required.
  • Children are required to bring a child-sized racquet to each class.
  • The instructor can string any style racquet for a small fee.
