Campus Technology

The Office of Campus Technology is responsible for the design, installation, training and support of the seminary’s computing and telecommunication systems. The CT office is equipped with a training room with computer software classes being offered throughout the year, contact the CT office for class information. CT is comprised of three departments: Computer Services, Network and Computing Services and Telephone Services.

Computer Services is responsible for the daily operations of the seminary’s main computing system. All office requests for access to the computing system and to information from the central database are processed through this department. Computer Services can be reached by e-mail at it@sbts.edu or by phone (502) 897-4106.

Network and Computing Services is responsible for the design, installation and support of the seminary’s voice and data networks. Requests for network access; e-mail and internet access are processed through Network and Computing Services. Seminary owned computers and software are purchased and supported through this office. Network and Computing Services also maintains the seminary’s main computer lab located in Norton 94. Telephone Services is responsible for the maintenance and support of the seminary’s telecommunications system. To request service or to report a trouble please contact Telephone Services at telephoneservices@sbts.edu or call (502) 897-4006. Students living in Springdale and Grinstead Apartments need to contact Bell South at (502) 557-6111, for phone services. Students living on campus and staff members who are interested in signing up for the seminary’s discounted long distance service should contact Campus Technology at (502) 897-4106.
