Dr. Martin served and taught in the Pacific Rim from 1988 to 1994. He was professor and academic dean at the Jakarta Baptist Theological Seminary and he has also served as a professor at the Asia Baptist Graduate Theological Seminary. Dr. Martin has experience with volunteer missions through the local church. He was Associate Professor of Religion at North Greenville College before joining the faculty at Southern.
Dr. Martin is a member of the Evangelical Missiological Society, Evangelical Theological Society, and American Society of Missiology.
