The Seminary School of the Arts offers music education to the Louisville community through private lessons, ensembles, and special focused classes. Hosted on the beautiful campus of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in the Billy Graham School, the Seminary School of the Arts is proud to offer a unique perspective on music education.

Teaching Philosophy

The Seminary School of the Arts believes that musical talent is a gift from God to be discovered with the help of great teachers, developed with excellence, returned with gratitude to God, and shared with others.

Mission Statement

Our goal as a school is to equip our students to do their personal best and to experience at every stage the joy of making music well. This quality experience comes through commitment to developing solid musical disciplines in practice and performance, through nurturing, highly-skilled professional teaching with a supportive, Christ-centered learning community, and through consistent parental support and encouragement. We’re shaping musicians for a lifetime, one lesson at a time.
