Academy Summary: On July 31–August 1, 2014, Dr. David Sills and Dr. Jeff Walters, authors along with Zane Pratt of Introduction to Global Missions, led Alumni Academy participants in a study of the biblical, historical, and strategic foundations for missions through the local church. They considered how every church and believer can and should be involved in missions, and provided practical tools and application of missiological principles including the missionary call, communicating the gospel interculturally, short-term missions, church planting, and more.
