Foundation Board

Join a family of men and women committed to supporting the work of Southern Seminary.

The Southern Seminary Foundation Board is a family of men and women that have committed to financially supporting the work of Southern Seminary. These members annually attend retreats, campus events and other events hosted by the Foundation Board.

Our two major Foundation Board events are Heritage Week and Spring Retreat.

Heritage Week

Southern Seminary has been blessed with a rich heritage of equipping Christian ministers, missionaries, and leaders for a lifetime of faithful service. Each year, we celebrate our heritage with a weeklong gathering on campus to remind us of the stewardship that has been entrusted to our care. This year’s Heritage Week program will begin Tuesday October 15th and will run through Thursday October 17th. Foundation Board members and guests are encouraged to join us. We invite you to experience our chapel services, sit in on a class, rub shoulders with our students, and enjoy the fellowship of other Board members. Guest speakers provide chapel messages that will enrich you spiritually.

The Spring Retreat

Each spring, Foundation Board members and invited guests gather at a warm-weather location for a special retreat. This is a great opportunity for donors to interact with Dr. and Mrs. Mohler and other Seminary personnel in a beautiful and relaxed setting. The retreat combines delicious meals, challenging Bible teaching, Seminary updates, and a variety of recreational opportunities to make for a memorable time away. You will return home encouraged and refreshed!

The 2013 Spring Retreat will be held at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort April 3-6. The Resort includes the sparkling white beaches and emerald green waters of the Gulf, four championship golf courses, and a variety of places to shop.
