Dr. Robert Jones serves as Associate Professor of Biblical Counseling, and Chair of the Department of Biblical Counseling and Practical Theology at Southern Seminary. Prior to coming to Southern in 2016, Dr. Jones served as a Lead Pastor in West Virginia and then Assistant Professor of Biblical Counseling  at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Dr. Jones is a fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, a certified Christian conciliator with the Institute for Christian Conciliation, and a founding council member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. Dr. Jones serves as an elder and adult teacher at Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. He is married to Lauren, and they have 2 children.
