Dr. Haste is Director of Professional Doctoral Studies and an Associate Professor of Biblical Spirituality and Biblical Counseling. Prior to Southern, Dr. Haste served as a professor and pastor in Columbia, South Carolina. He has over a decade of pastoral ministry experience, having served in College Ministry, Adult Discipleship, and as Pastor of Preaching at churches in Kentucky and South Carolina. Haste and his wife Cheyenne have three children. He is an elder at Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
